Anyone can sponsor a child during the holiday season by stopping by Zimmerman's local banks, Johnson's Hardware Hank, or Jim's Market to pick up a Holiday Angel. Each Angel represents a child in need and lists items needed to be purchased for the Holidays.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Toy Drive has toy drop locations around town during the holidays and accepts new unwrapped toys for distribution to area residents in need.

Cash donations are also accepted. For more information about donations, please call Angela Christiansen at 763-634-6031.

Passing the Bread/Zimmerman Food Distribution is a free service offering canned goods and other food items to families in need in the Zimmerman area. It is a cooperative effort amongst local churches and other not-for-profit groups. Donations to the food distribution are received from a variety of local vendors, including Lane’s Economart, and private monetary and in-kind donations. Distribution organizers will also deliver goods to residents that cannot drive.  To see if you are in an area they serve, they recommend calling before coming.  They require proof of residency.
