Hi President Jay here - I appreciate you taking time to visit our website. As an area resident I know how important it is for the Chamber of Commerce to be involved in the business community. This website is just one way that you can communicate with area businesses. In addition, if your business is in need of that connection I can safely say that your membership investment will pay rewards throughout the year. Please contact Vicki at the Chamber Office to help you get involved.
The Zimmerman area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is hard at work promoting our great business community. These dedicated area business owners are here to support you. Should you have any questions, contact the Chamber of Commerce office, or the leadership below.
Board President: Jay Collins - Edward Jones
Although I am new to the Zimmerman Community, in my short time here I have already witnessed what a great town this is. With it's welcoming atmosphere and genuine residents, Zimmerman has inspired me to help make a difference in any way that I can. I began my practice with Edward Jones in 2012 in San Antonio after spending 17 years in professional ministry. My family and I relocated to the twin cities in order to be close to family and have made the Zimmerman area our new home. My vision for the Chamber is to equip our local business community to realize success, fulfillment, and prosperity.

Board Member: Mandy Kruse - Keller Williams Realty
My name is Mandy Kruse and my family and I have been Zimmerman residents since 2012. My son attends Zimmerman Elementary and is active in the Zimmerman youth baseball and football programs. I am a Realtor with Keller Williams Realty and have been selling in the area for 11+ years, and sold in the Twin Cities metro area since 2000. I am interested in serving on the board for several reasons. Of course, I see an opportunity to network with local businesses and grow my own business. I would also like to help raise local business awareness within the community, using different online and social media techniques. I see value in providing quality events, speakers, training and more to provide value to the current members as well increase membership. I stay up to date with current trends and techniques in marketing and sales in my own industry and feel I could use these to not only help boost the local Zimmerman chamber membership and events, but even provide value to the members that they could then use in their own businesses.
Board Member: Ruth Carpenter - Zimmerman Floral & Gift
I‘ve been in business as Zimmerman Floral and Gifts for 8 years. I have been active in the community for many years including Zimmerman High School Boosters. Previous to the flower shop I have 20 years’ experience in the restaurant field. I love spending time outdoors, cooking and being with my family. It’s a privilege to be on the Zimmerman Chamber Board to actively promote all businesses in Zimmerman and surrounding area. One of my goals is to promote “Shop Local” in order to support our community.
Community Relations Administrator: Vicki Hughes - Executive Director
My name is Vicki Hughes and I have been with the Zimmerman Area Chamber of Commerce since April of this year. I am honored to work with such great businesses and leaders within our community. Zimmerman has so much to offer and I am proud to be part of it. I am excited to help businesses succeed and watch this small town grow and thrive. I am a proud mom of 4 children, and a very happy grandma of 4 grandchildren and counting :) I enjoy spending my time outdoors, cooking, and spending time with my family. I feel very blessed with what surrounds me.
Past President: Scott Lehner - Centerpoint Energy
I’ve lived in the Zimmerman area for 16 years with my wife and 3 children. Prior to that I served in the United States Army and went to college at St. Cloud State. I started 22 years ago with CenterPoint Energy and in 2009 began work with cities and local business to build a better relationship between the utility and its customers. As the current President, my goal is to help existing businesses in this area thrive to their full potential while marketing the Zimmerman area in such a way that we would attract new businesses to the area. I love the Zimmerman area and will use my skills to help make this a city that businesses can continue to prosper in.
